How I learned to Program Computers vs. How I learned to live Google Free

In my opinion, the two articles were both very well written. Neither Feross nor Joshua strayed too far off topic. Everything they put into their articles was fundamental and relevant. While both education narratives are insightful and interesting. I'd say that Joshua J. Romero's "How I learned to live Google Free" is the article that truly stole my attention considering I, too, rely on Google for almost everything I do online. I admit that I am a creature of comfort. I seldom branch out and try new things. So the way that Romero continued to push and move away from his Google-led life really inspired me in more ways than one. Once he made the decision to stray from what he knows, he continued to pursue it. That itself really spoke to me in terms of almost every aspect of my life. I feel encouraged to try new things - to stray from what I know. I'll start with something small. Maybe tomorrow I'll take a different route to school, or buy a different type of coffee drink. Who knows, maybe I'll even wear missed-match socks.
Though I did not favor it, Feross Aboukhadeijeh's article, "How I learned to Program Computers", was also quite insightful and encouraging. I'd say that the "encouraging" factor is definitely what made the two articles alike in my perspective. Reading into Feross's drive and passion for web-design was very enthusing. He proved that hard work and passion really do go hand and hand.
